Challenge #1 — 1 Cor. 2: 7-8 (NAS)
“We speak God’s wisdom in a mystery — that hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
We know who the “rulers of this age” are — “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 3:32) They are the former angels of Heaven! What did they not know that, had they known, they would not have had Christ crucified?
Challenge #2 — Rev. 13:8 (KJV)
“… the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
The “Lamb” here is capitalized, saying it was the “Lamb of God” (Christ) Who was “slain from the foundation of the world” … suggesting that this was a reality that pre-dated the animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant — to the Gates of Creation itself!
How was that possible?
What are we missing in “The Story of Our Redemption”? Taking nothing away from what we already know, is there more to the story that we should know? The Apostle Paul said there is (Eph. 3:4-5). So important is this revelation that Paul, in the 13 epistles he wrote, spoke of “the mystery” in five of them … most more than once!
The Mystery: Heaven’s Secret Story is a contemporary discovery of an evolving revelation that takes the reader to the exciting Dawn of Creation … and why it all happened the way it did! With over 200 scriptures cited (172 in the Endnotes alone), the story is not without its strong biblical base. Discover and experience for yourself the story behind the history of Christ’s redemptive work.
